Superhero's and short sleeves

The forecast called for rain, lucky for us it held off until the evening hours and we had time to ramble along a back road we like to frequent.  Always up for an adventure, Dad led the way down a snowy path to see the short skirt of slush encircling the lake.  We soon discovered that in order to "walk light" and not break through the crust, you have to hold your arms "light" and float them away from your body.  What a bunch of ungraceful geese we were!  At the end of the walk my ankles were only slightly damp...solid proof of my keen ablity to walk in Josh's footprints!
