I was taking Bailey for a walk yesterday afternoon and a car came up slowly with its window down. I started thinking of the best way to Lake Placid, Whiteface, Canton...all the usual requests. I was pleasantly surprised when they informed me that just ahead there was a bald eagle perching in a tree. They turned around and pulled up to look at it for a while. I stood and enjoyed it's beauty. After a bit Bailey and I continued on our way and I was happy to see it still there on our way back. When I got home I grabbed the kids, Josh grabbed the camera and we walked up to see it. The kids were in awe at it's size and had a great time whispering and looking.
